RS485-Bluetooth is a special converter from industrial bus RS485 (or other bus based on RS485 physical layer) to Bluetooth wireless protocol. It can be used for creation of Ad-hoc connection to measuring instrument or in situations where making a cable connection should not be the right choice. It is also very comfortable for downloading data from VibroLoggers to PC and then data postprocessing in the office.

 

The only one necessity is a notebook (or PC) with Bluetooth adaptor installed or any similar Bluetooth dongle mapped as a serial port.

Converter is placed in a small plastic housing with industrial M16 circular connector, designed mainly for VibroLogger connection, but there is no reason for using it in any other applications according your requirements.
